Sad news indeed to hear of the death of this jazz musician. Didnt really follow his music until I heard him and his band on Radiohead's Amnesiac album, on the track Life in a Glasshouse. My understanding was that he was a socialist as well as a well respected musician. I will try and check out more of his material.
