Post Office Pay Freeze

Posties everywhere will be disgusted by the arrogance of their employer in even suggesting a pay freeze. This is using the recession as an excuse for dampening down terms and conditions of hard working posties. All this act is going to do is further toughen an already demoralised workforce into giving a solid 'yes' vote in an industrial action ballot. It will also assist the CWU in completely severing its financial ties with Labour.

Battle against what Post Office bosses call 'modernisation' is still continuing in Scotland.

Dunfermline Delivery Office Industrial Action Ballot

95 yes

26 No

A pretty conclusive ballot in favour of some form of Industrial Action, even allowing for 30 abstentions,we still have a huge mandate to take the fight to Royal Mail.
We are up for the fight, and there's loads of offices receiving ballots in the next few weeks

Ever get the feeling we went from the Conservatives to another type of Conservative government, and that the working class have no bloody party at all anymore. Even some of the top brass within the Unions look as if they be better off voting Tory.

I am really glad that my life will not last to much longer because I hate to be a young person with a poor education living in Heir Browns Britain.
